About Plug-n-Go

Charging the Rock

In Gibraltar, Plug-n-Go is the largest charging operator — chosen by the Government of Gibraltar for the public-vehicle fleet, by Gibraltar’s first electric taxi operator and by hotels, restaurants and businesses across the territory.

We bring the same local, hands-on approach we built in Guernsey to a market where range anxiety isn’t local — it’s about charging from the Rock into Spain. Our app covers both.

Our Story

We started with a handful of chargers on one island. Today we run over 300 chargers across Guernsey, Gibraltar and the UK — and the Plug-n-Go app gives every driver roaming access to 800,000+ partner chargers in 60 countries through the major European roaming hubs, Hubject and Gireve. Still privately owned.

Still headquartered in Guernsey.

What we do

We’re a full-stack EV charging business — not just an installer, not just an app, not just a network.

That means:

• We design and install. Site assessment, hardware selection, civils, commissioning — across public, workplace, fleet and home installations.

• We own and operate. Real-time network monitoring, 24/7 driver support on +44 (0)330 232 1111, and maintenance teams in every territory we run.

• We’re hardware-agnostic. We run Easee, Ingeteam, Rolec and others — picking the right unit for the site instead of selling whatever one supplier offers.

• We run AC and DC. Long-dwell chargers for the places people park anyway — supermarkets, workplaces, homes, hotels. Rapid chargers where people need to keep moving.

• We run an app and a roaming network. One Plug-n-Go account opens our chargers plus the major European networks — Shell Recharge, bp Pulse, IONITY, Fastned, Osprey, TotalEnergies and dozens more.

Most charging companies do one or two of these. We do all five — because the parts work best when they’re built together.

Who we serve

The Plug-n-Go network exists for the people who use it.

They include:

• Drivers — public and private, at home, at work, on the road, on holiday.

• The States of Guernsey — the public charging network across the island, plus the chargers behind the bus electrification programme.

• The Government of Gibraltar — public-fleet charging, the territory’s first electric taxi fleet, and the public network across Gibraltar.

• UK local authorities — workplace-charging frameworks, residents’ on-street charging, public-car-park installations. • Retail and hospitality — supermarkets, shopping centres, hotels, restaurants and pubs, where charging is a destination-driver as much as a service.

• Workplaces — offices and business parks running employee and visitor charging. • Fleet and logistics operators — depots, last-mile delivery yards, taxi ranks.

• Healthcare and education — hospitals, universities and schools, where chargers serve staff, patients, students and visitors.

• Homeowners — installations in private driveways and apartment blocks.

It’s a wider list than most charging operators. That’s not by accident — it’s because charging works best when it fits how people actually live and move.
